The Leader's Journey exists to help leaders and organizations grow their emotional intelligence so they can be the healthiest, most effective versions of themselves. It was co-founded by Jim Herrington and Trisha Taylor, who bring more than fifty combined years of successful leadership in the non-profit world to helping organizations and congregations have maximum impact. Our three key services are coaching, leadership development, and organizational consulting.
ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE. As a young pastor, I experienced Trisha and Jim's mentorship through Faithwalking and Churches Learning Change. The work our congregation did under their guidance helped the entire church community grow in their spiritual and emotional health, and challenged us as an organization to get laser-focused on a new sense of mission and vision.
PERSONAL CHANGE. But the work my co-pastors and I did as individuals was what changed my life forever. I learned how to see myself as a whole and integrated person, to understand my anxious responses and default patterns, to see myself as part of a system, and to wake up to the fact that the only way to transform the system was to change my own way of behaving.
