Marijke Strong is a professional coach and spiritual director, a speaker, leadership trainer, workshop facilitator, retreat guide, and consultant. She has over 20 years of experience leading individuals and groups through spiritual formation, conflict transformation, and adaptive change.
Her focus is on the spiritual and emotional healing of individuals, relationships, systems, families and cultures toward wholeness, flourishing and the common good.
She does this primarily through Spiritual Direction, Coaching and Consulting, though she also loves partnerships and collaborative projects. Her closest partners are Credence & Company and The Leader's Journey, both faith-based organizations that offer conflict transformation, coaching, and consulting toward wholehearted leadership and organizational change.

In her work, Marijke specializes in spiritual formation, emotional intelligence, community building, Restorative Circles, and the Enneagram. She is a student of theology and systems theory (influenced by Margaret Wheatley) and is also learning about consensus models, relationship coaching, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
In life, Marijke is motivated by themes of wholeheartedness, peace, belovedness, beauty, goodness, justice, embodiment, curiosity, adaptive change, living systems, and the spiritual journey. She is fascinated by the healing qualities of nature, music, art, and authentic community.
Marijke is educated in English, Theatre and Theology, is certified as an ordained minister (RCA) and spiritual director (Dominican Center, GR), is a Masters Level certified coach (through ILS, which is ICF-accredited), a Restorative Circles Facilitator (certified through Holland Restorative Circles), a Restorative Congregations Facilitator, and is interested in training to be a forest therapy guide. She is an associate consultant at Credence & Company, which specializes in conflict transformation and organizational health. Marijke loves poetry, art, kayaking, camping, hiking, experimental gardening, making music with friends, and talking about big ideas over a beer or a good meal.
